Bretton Woods New Hampshire Pure Powder! This Week!
The Bartlett Inn Innkeepers, Miriam and Nick, enjoyed a pure powder day at Bretton Woods on Tuesday, 5 January 2010. Bretton Woods Ski Resort is just 16 miles west of the Bartlett Inn in Bartlett NH: Turn left out of our driveway on US Rte 302 and drive through Crawford Notch. No traffic,ever, and you enjoy beautiful mountain and forest scenery during your 20 minute drive!) We got our Burton and Ride snowboards out and headed to Bretton Woods to make sure they really did get the 28 inches of fresh powder over the weekend. We can vouch for it that on Tuesday there was still great powder. We boarded the whole mountain but found the Rosebrook and Roz Glades completely awesome! There was so much powder that if you fell it did not matter..although it was tough getting up out! We have gotten a bit of new snow each day and night this week so it will be fantastic conditions to ski this weekend. We have discounted ski tickets that save you up to $8 per person. Another great tip is midweek skiing and boarding. Bretton Woods offer 2 for 1 lift tickets on Wednesdays.
